On August 19, 2014, the National Cybersecurity Institute hosted a webinar on “Steganography: Hiding Data within Data”.
The webinar addressed several issues related to Steganography which is a technique for hiding data inside other data, in such a way that you do not suspect there is anything hidden. Learning more on steganography is considered critical as secret hidden information may be malicious in nature, undetectable, and even unreadable.
The webinar was presented by Mr. James Antonakos who is is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Computer Science at Broome Community College, in Binghamton, NY, where he has taught since 1984. Antonakos is the designer and director of the new 2-year AAS Degree in Computer Security and Forensics at Broome Community College. James is the author or co-author of over 40 books on computers, networking, electronics, and technology. He is also a fellow at the National Cybersecurity Institute.
